Trip to Anuradhapura

Suddenly we went on a trip to Anuradhapura during the last week. I went there with my family and my sister. we went in our van. we get off at 4.00 pm and we reached the around 6.00pm. we worshiped at Sri Maha bodhi and visit the Ruwanweliseya. we saw Lowamahapaaya. After that we visit Isurumuniya, Abhayagiriya, Mirissavetiya we sow the various type of ancient places. we took many photographs. It is unforgettable time after long time.




                                         Sri Maha bodhi is oldest  living  tree in the documented history of the world. It was planted in 288 BCC and is oldest living human planted tree in the world known planting date. It was brought from Buddagaya India by the Sangamitta mehenin wahansa.

  Hello!  Everyone!! My name's Anjalee kawindya. I am 22 years old. My hometown is Rathmalgahawewa, Anuradhapura district. There are some historical place near my village. such as Mihinthalaya, Sri Maha bodhiya, Ruwanweliseya. There are a lot of cows🐄🐮 and buffalos in the rice fields and farms. There are some  wild elephants in homeland🐘. There is a big lake in village but there is not a big river. There is a National school and there are a lot of students study here🏫. There is a monastery near my village and in the morning, there are some monks go ask for alms along the road every morning🌲🌳🐒. There are not any supermarkets and shopping  centers. because it is a rural area village. But I love my homeland  very much. home sweet home .....💓💓💓
